  1. OSU’s football program made the school $40 million in 2010 alone. But don’t pay the kids! That’d lead to all kinds of scandals!
  2. The one good thing about the Obama Dept. of Justice: they’re actually taking police brutality seriously.
  3. The cutest thing any bird has ever done. Watch the whole thing to see some impressive avian problem-solving skills.
  4. Everybody’s a little bit racist! Some are just massively so.

    This is more like a logistical hurdle than anything else. I’m not well-versed in Title IX’s financial implications, but it seems that “base pay + a percent of endorsements/gear sales” should work fine. IF you wanted to appease the grumblers, you could cap earnings and have any surplus go to charity.

    Although it’s true that big programs would have an advantage under such an arrangement, they already have one–as it is, no one with pro aspirations or endorsement opportunities turns down a stronger program for Tulsa.
