They say a change is gonna come.

Emily: i like that it looks like they will actually follow through on some promises
me: yeah!
Emily: like posting legislation five days before it’s signed into effect
no more patriot act mishaps!
me: like obama wasn’t just making shit up
Emily: I KNOW
presidents can actually fulfill promises!

It’s going to take a while for those of us who came of political age during the Bush years to adjust. We’re not used to this “honesty” thing.
