In the interest of rehabbing his image after sucker-punching his teammate in the face, Carolina wide receiver Steve Smith has taken to … philanthropic blogging, I guess. In his second post for the “Athletes United for Youth” organization, Smith recounts his reaction to the Panthers’ last-second win against San Diego:
And when Dante Rosario caught that game-winning pass, I was just getting off the freeway to my house. They were like “ROSARIO! TOUCHDOWN!” and I was like, “YES!” I almost pooped on myself.
HT to ProFootballTalk.com, who also note that Smith was blogging, and therefore “had a chance to ponder his choice of words.” Which is a fair point.
