Dec 0818. Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – Dig!!! Lazarus Dig!!!
This is Gothic rock at its best, what with a title track protesting “Larry’s” resurrection, a fair amount of hostility towards God and a gloomy sound so full of bass and alienation it’s hard to imagine the band out at any time except late night. Bonus: Nick Cave looks really creepy now.
I’m aware that nothing I just wrote is going to actually convince anyone to listen to this album, but you should give it a shot.
