My girlfriend did not like this DFA disco throwback nearly as much as I did. This led to complications. But if you’d like a modern take on those bouncy ’70s guitars and synths (and don’t mind Antony Hegarty’s voice), this is not an album to miss. If you’re like my girlfriend and don’t like anything resembling disco, at least you don’t live with me. If you’re my girlfriend, at least I haven’t played this album that much recently.
