Five for Friday.

After a three-month drought of worthwhile concerts, Cut Copy, the Juan Maclean and Hot Chip are playing DC in a one-week stretch. And I am broke. But here’s five things to make your life better:

1. Firefox 3. Harder, better, faster, stronger.
2. Daft Bodies. Watch this while you download #1. I’ve been listening to Homework and Discovery a lot lately.
3. Better Gmail 2 (Firefox, Opera and IE7 add-on). Macros, nested labels, attachment type displays and more from Lifehacker. Requires Greasemonkey, but (Turns out, there’s an options panel that my instruction-non-reading ass missed) it’ll make sorting email that much easier.
4. Streetwalker. The rest of this blog is of marginal interest to me, but I can’t say no to a well-done Sartorialist-clone.
5. “Best Supporting Actor” (direct MP3) This work week has been generally shitty, so some summery indie pop is just about what the doctor ordered. One for the Team sounds a lot like Mates of State with some of the shellac washed off. (HT: Music for Robots)
