It’s well-established that electronic voting machines suck. They’re so bad that the incredibly expensive machines have been replaced with older-style scanners. There’s even evidence that (voting-machine-manufacturer) Diebold and the Republican Party committed vote fraud in Georgia (compared with Indiana’s voter-registration law, ostensibly designed to combat a tactic that has never been used).
