Dec 08Turns out happiness is contagious.
In an essay either by or about Malcolm Gladwell, there was a line that went something like “Social scientists take the obvious, make it sound complicated, then explain it.” That’s about all you can say about a twenty-year study that finds that “People’s happiness depends on the happiness of others with whom they are connected” after using (undoubtedly-advanced) longitudinal statistical models.
