Dec 09My major was convicted.
That’s what Caroline told me, anyway.

Photo from the Sun.
Oh, mayor.
Anyway, Baltimore’s own Sheila Dixon was found guilty of snaking about $500 worth of gift cards meant for the homeless. This is of course despicable and blah blah, but what bothers me most is the weaksauce, small-minded scope of the corruption. No ordering police to harass opponents? No bribes from the mob or awarding lucrative development gigs to friendly developers (wait, that one probably happened)?
I demand a higher standard of corruption, Sheila. You might be from West Baltimore, but on the political stage, this kind of grasping bullshit just doesn’t cut it. Step it up–I expect a proper scandal before your inevitable resign in disgrace.
Update: Are those blue labradors on her lawyer’s tie?

Hahaha. I’m terribly pleased my typo will live in infamy now.
