My major was convicted.

That’s what Caroline told me, anyway.

Anyway, Baltimore’s own Sheila Dixon was found guilty of snaking about $500 worth of gift cards meant for the homeless. This is of course despicable and blah blah, but what bothers me most is the weaksauce, small-minded scope of the corruption. No ordering police to harass opponents? No bribes from the mob or awarding lucrative development gigs to friendly developers (wait, that one probably happened)?

I demand a higher standard of corruption, Sheila. You might be from West Baltimore, but on the political stage, this kind of grasping bullshit just doesn’t cut it. Step it up–I expect a proper scandal before your inevitable resign in disgrace.

Update: Are those blue labradors on her lawyer’s tie?
